The Language Technology Classroom

The AT&T FLC is equipped with 19 Dell GX400 computers (18 student stations and one teacher station), a projection system for viewing the teacher station or video, a networked printer for in-class use, and a public address system for ease of communication. Each station has a sound capabilities and a DVD-ROM drive bringing sound and video into the classroom setting. Software available in the Language Technology Classroom includes Atajo and Système-D, writing assistants for Spanish and French, Microsoft Office Language Modules, network access for e-mail, news groups and the WWW and Teaching Theater packages, One-Minute Paper and Caprina.

Various CD-ROM programs are available to teachers upon request to use in class.
