The English New Media Classroom - 2112 Susquehanna Hall

Equipment available for student use in the English New Media Classroom includes 35 Dell Optiplex 300 computers, color and black and white laser printers, a Hewlitt-Packard scanner, and a two Sharp LCD projectors. Software includes Microsoft Office 2000, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe FrameMaker, Collaborative Virtual Workspace, and OmniPage Professional (installed only on the scanning station).

The New Media Classroom is used for a variety of classes, including freshman writing, professional writing, literature, and grammar. Teaching activities include drafting and editing, group conferencing and workshops, text analysis, document design, graphics, library and internet research, and testing.
