Citation in Classical Language and Mythology

15 to 16 credits hours.

Specific course requirements:
. CLAS 170--Greek and Roman Mythology
. CLAS 470--Approaches to Greek Mythology

Additional requirements:
. Two courses (totalling six or seven credits) in the Greek or Latin languages, one of which must be at the 300 level.
. A 200-400 level course in Classics or another Humanities department dealing in significant measure with the representation of myth.
Among the Classics department courses in this category are CLAS 270 (Greek Literature in Translation), 271 (Roman Literature in Translation), 320 (Women in Classical Antiquity) and 374 (Greek Tragedy).
