Citation in German Studies

THE GERMAN STUDIES CITATION IN PENDING PCC APPROVAL< CONTACT THE ADVISOR BELOW.

15/16 credits of coursework.

Course requirements:
GERM 202 (4 credits)
GERM 220 and/or GERM 301 (each 3 credits)

Additional requirements:
Two or three additional courses on the 300-level and above, such as GERM 302 (Conversation and Composition), GERM 321/322 (Highlights of German Literature), GERM 381/382 (German Civilization), GERM 401 (Advanced Conversation), GERM 403 (Stylistics), GERM 411 (German for International Business) or GERM 439 (Topics Course).

Course taken through the University of Maryland Study Abroad Programs can be applied to a maximum of 6 credits.

Students who already have a 200/300 level German Language proficiency must select other courses taught in German for the Specific Courses category as approved by the Undergraduate Advisor of the Germanic Studies Department.
