Citation in Value Theory

Value Theory focuses on either two areas: aesthetics or ethics and political/legal philosophy. Students may specialize in one area or concentrate on both.

Fifteen credits of coursework , of at least six of which must be at the 300-level or higher.

Specific course requirements:

. PHIL 341 (Introduction to Ethical Theory) or
PHIL 336 (Introduction to Virtue Ethics) or
PHIL 440 (Contemporary Ethical Theory) or
PHIL 441 (History of Ethics: Hobbes to the Present)or
PHIL 442 (Normative Ethical Theory)
