The Department of Germanic Studies invites you to attend the first movie screening of our year-long movie series “Imagining the Environment: Landscapes of German Cinema.”

Film: Die weisse Hölle vom Piz Palü/ The White Hell of Piz Palu (Arnold Fanck/G.W. Pabst, 1929)

All screenings are free for the UMD community and will be shown with English subtitles. (Do be aware that films may contain disturbing images, language, and sexual content.)

Film screening will take place in St. Mary’s Hall Multipurpose Room on Wednesdays from 7-9:30pm.

Come for free pizza and refreshments at 7pm; film will begin at 7:30pm.
