Volk ohne Humor?: The German Comedy Film. We will be screening our second film in this semester titled:
Fack ju Göhte (Bora Dağtekin, 2013) Fack ju Göhte (Suck Me Shakespeer) is a German comedy directed by Turkish-German director Bora Dağtekin and released in cinemas in 2013. The screenplay takes place in Munich and Berlin. As a typical high-school movie, Fack ju Göhte tells the story about overwhelmed teachers and troubled students, portraying problems of social and economic class, while entertaining the audience through a sarcastic and humorous dialogue. All screenings are free for the UMD community and will be shown with English subtitles. (Do be aware that films may contain disturbing images, language, and sexual content.)
