Join the Department of Germanic Studies for our year-long movie series: Volk ohne Humor?: The German Comedy Film.   We will be screening our second film in this semester titled: Fack ju Göhte (Bora Dağtekin, 2013)   Fack ju Göhte (Suck Me Shakespeer) is a German comedy directed by Turkish-German director Bora Dağtekin and released in cinemas in 2013. The screenplay takes place in Munich and Berlin. As a typical high-school movie, Fack ju Göhte tells the story about overwhelmed teachers and troubled students, portraying problems of social and economic class, while entertaining the audience through a sarcastic and humorous dialogue.   All screenings are free for the UMD community and will be shown with English subtitles.
