About The Last Ten Years: In Focus

The Last Ten Years: In Focus includes highlights from the David C. Driskell Center's art acquisitions for the last decade. While the Driskell Center routinely exhibits a wide variety of themes and content in its shows, it very rarely has an opportunity to show off some of the more unique and interesting items from its collections. The Last Ten Years: In Focus brings newly acquired and previously not-shown works for the public to see. The exhibition also displays material from its archival collection as a complement to certain works in this show. The Last Ten Years: In Focus is an exciting opportunity for UMD and the broader community to see the breadth and depth of the Driskell Center's art and archival holdings, which have grown by thousands of objects in the last decade.

The Driskell Center Gallery’s hours are Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. with extended hours on Wednesday until 6 p.m. The gallery will additionally be open on the following Saturdays: September 16, October 21, and November 4 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
