The American Studies Department and the U.S. Latina/o Studies Program present "Racialization and Latinas/os in Arkansas: Political Economy, the Poultry Industry, and Labor Migration," a talk by Dr. Perla Guerrero.Dr. Perla Guerrero is a candidate for the position of Assistant Professor in the American Studies Department and U.S. Latina/o Studies Program.  She holds a Ph.D. in American Studies and Ethnicity from the University of Southern California, and a Smithsonian Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Museum of American History.

The talk will be held from 3pm-4:30pm followed by a Meet and Greet session until 5:15pm.  All visitors are welcome to drop in at any time during the Meet and Greet session!
