Dr. Perla M. Guerrero: Dr. Guerrero is Assistant Professor of American Studies and U.S. Latina/o Studies at UMCP. Her research and teaching interests include relational race and ethnicity, space and place, immigration, labor, and U.S. history. She has received multiple awards including two Smithsonian Instittuion fellowships, a Ford Foundation postdoctoral fellowship, and has published numerous book chapters and articles.
