The College of Arts & Humanities places particular emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration. Interdisciplinary work can take many forms, from the individual scholar who integrates a diverse range of materials and methodologies into his or her research, to ongoing collaborative ventures across multiple departments that produce new publications, national conferences, or new models for undergraduate and graduate pedagogy. The College of Arts & Humanities actively promotes interdisciplinary engagement in graduate education. We provide opportunities for students to pursue interdisciplinary projects and we encourage students to forge their own innovative interdisciplinary research paradigms.
