Umd Mfa Student Wins Contemporary Sculpture Award

First year student Monroe Isenberg among 15 to receive prestigious award.

Congratulations to first year MFA student Monroe Isenberg ’19 for receiving The International Sculpture Center’s Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award. The annual award was established in 1994 to “recognize young sculptors and to encourage their continued commitment to the field”. Isenberg was sponsored by Department of Art faculty member Foon Sham in the creation of his winning piece.
