ARHU Ambassador Program

The PMP Kick-Off Party, Fall 2003 Enhance your university experience by being paired up with a current student in the College of Arts and Humanities ARHU Ambassador Program. Sign Up Today!

Our program provides you with resources that will help you transition to life at the University of Maryland. We match interested new students with upperclassmen in the College of Arts and Humanities, and hope that it will help as students adjust and learn about college life.

An ARHU Ambassador can answer your questions about:
  • academics
  • classes you are interested in taking
  • your major
  • activities, how to get involved at Maryland and in the community

Ambassadors are Arts and Humanities upperclassmen, representing nearly every department and program. All mentors have been academically successful, and many of them are among Arts and Humanities's top students. We have mentors who are involved in college sports, student organizations, community activities, study abroad programs, and virtually every other facet of college and community life. Each of our mentors is enthusiastic about sharing their experiences with a new student and helping them adjust to college life.

But The ARHU Ambassador Program is not all academics, past events include:

  • Peer Mentoring Kick-Off Party
  • Movie at the Hoff/Dinner at the Union
  • Pre-game BBQ
  • Bubble Tea at Ten Ren's
  • Study Break! Ice Cream Social

To sign up, just fill out this form.

Bahiyyah was a peer mentor, 2002-2003
