Become an ARHU Ambassador!

Responsibilities

  • Training
  • Ambassadors must attend a training session the semester before they wish to serve as Ambassador.

  • Assist with College of Arts and Humanities recruitment events
  • Ambassadors must be willing to attend Open House events, as well as other recruitment events.

  • ARHU 468 (1 credit)
  • ARHU 468 Course Requirements: Ambassadors will be required to attend monthly class activities, work with UNIV 100 classes, meet with mentees (new students) outside of class time, respond to occasional email reflectors, keep a weekly journal, and do a 3 page final write-up of their experiences. A more detailed syllabus at the beginning of the semester will let ambassadors know the breakdown of course requirements.

  • Peer Advising
  • Serve as peer advisor during registration period.

Requirements

  • Strong academic standing
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm
  • Team player
