Catherine Vuozzo Scholarship

1000
Annual scholarship to an undergraduate
student in the Arts and Humanities. Criteria for selection are
based on academic merit with preference given to a student with
financial need. Student must be full-time during the 2008-2009
academic year. Students on a full Scholarship are not eligible.
For consideration of the award students
must submit:
· an essay (2 pages double
spaced) Topic: What does it mean to be an "educated"
person? What is the role of the the discipline in which you are
majoring in forming educated people?
· one letter of reference from a
faculty member submitted directly to the College
· a brief statement explaining
need for financial support
