Camtasia
What is Camtasia Studio?
Camtasia Studio is a screen recorder software that captures video footage from your monitor.
The publishers of Camtasia Studio, TechSmith, describe the software as "The smart, friendly screen recorder [...] Imagine being able to show exactly what's on your screen to anyone, anywhere. Imagine that it's easy. Now you've imagined Camtasia Studio."
What does Camtasia Studio do?
Camtasia Studio records a video of what you see on your monitor while you use the computer. It's essentially the digital equivalent of using a camcorder to videotape your computer screen.
You can also easily add an audio narration to accompany your video to make a presentation more stand-alone.
Camtasia is available for both PC and Macs.
How can Camtasia Studio help me?
- Record and edit your screen with narrations for lectures, tutorials walkthroughs
- Record PowerPoint presentations
