QuickTime and QuickTime Pro
What is QuickTime?
QuickTime is a free multimedia program produced by Apple that can handle various formats of audio, video, and image files.
QuickTime Pro is an advanced version of the freeware QuickTime. To get QuickTime Pro you will have to purchase the software for $29.95.
What does QuickTime do? What does QuickTime Pro do?
QuickTime allows you to watch video and listen to audio on your computer or on the web.
QuickTime Pro offers advanced video editing, encoding, and exporting features that allow you to extract clips from DVDs or other movie files. You can then burn your clips to a new DVD, upload to the web, view on your computer, or download to your iPod or iPhone.

- Prepare a video or audio file for streaming with OIT's Streaming Media
- Edit audio or video files and burn to discs
