Would
you like to use a computer in your classroom?
Would
you like to show your students web pages that relate to your course
material?
Would
you like to use PowerPoint or a similar tool to present your lectures?
The
Arts and Humanities Classroom Support office provides computers
and projectors for classroom use! Reserve
equipment for your class now!
You
don't need to be in a computer lab or technology classroom to
use a computer in your class. The Arts and Humanities Classroom
Support office loans equipment to faculty for use in the classroom.
The computers are ready to connect to the campus network* so you
can use them to show your students web sites and other internet
resources. If you have developed a PowerPoint presentation, you
can use these machines to present it to your class. Contact the
Classroom Support Office at extension 5-0830 to reserve the equipment
you need. Don't worry if you don't know how to set up and use
this equipment -- we will schedule a training session to teach
you what you need to know to become comfortable using this technology
in your classroom. The Classroom Support Office
provides full delivery and retrieval services, but resources are
limited so please make your reservation for equipment as early
as possible. Equipment and support are provided on a first-come,
first-served basis.

or to make your equipment

*Connection
to the network requires an active data jack in the classroom.
Classroom Support staff can determine whether or not your
classroom has an active data jack. If you plan to use the
network, please be prepared to provide the building and
room number for your classroom when you call to reserve
equipment.
