Creating a Button with Photodraw
http://www.arhu.umd.edu/technology/workshops/photodraw/button1.html
Use Photodraw's shapes and styles to create snazzy buttons.

1. On the toolbar, click New to open a new picture.

2. On the Draw Paint menu, click Shapes.

3. In the Shapes workpane, double-click the shape of choice. From the "Designer" set I selected shape 4.

4. In the workspace, drag a resize handle so the button measures about 1.0 inch across.
Hint: The width and height appear in the status bar in the lower right corner.

Now we'll add some style to your button.
5. At the top of the Edge workpane, click Styles, and then click Designer 4 in the gallery. (Experiment with different effects!)
6. On the Web Effects menu, click Emboss and Embed.
7. In the Emboss and Embed workpane, click Embed 8 to add a bevel to your button.
8. On the Text menu, click Insert Text.

9. In the Text workpane, make these entries:

In the text window, type Home.
In the font box, enter Verdana.
In the Size box, enter 16.0 pt.

10. Resize the button as necessary to match the text. Position the text as desired. Now we'll group the objects to make it easier to work with them as a button.
11. Press SHIFT + click so that both objects are selected. On the Arrange menu, click Group.
13. Use the View menu > Fit background to selection option.

14. Save graphic using the File Menu > Save for Use in... option.
