4. You will use the "Crop Size" button, "Cut Out" by drawing option. You can either click and drag around the desired image area or click, click, click around the image area. Finish the shape by clicking on the yellow diamond or double clicking with your mouse. You can edit the selection area by clicking ont the path and dragging. Make sure the "put in new picture" option is selected. Hit finish when you are satisfied.

 

The isolated area of the image will appear in the Picture List as a new file. Now you can clean up the image.

1. Use the "Touch Up" button, erase option (or Format Menu > Touch up > Erase). You will be erasing with a brush. You can change the brush size by selecting a new brush from the gallery which is made visible by clicking the arrow <. You can use the "restore" option if you erase more than intended.
