Adding the Hyperlinks Previous Page

15. Press CTRL+A to select all three objects, and then click Fit Background to Selection on the View menu.
16. On the workspace, select the left-most logo.
17. On the Web Effects menu, click Hyperlink. In the Hyperlink workpane, make these entries:

In the Link to box, enter a hyperlink such as http://www.umd.edu or  use the Browse for... file button to select the syllabus.html file.

On the Options page, make sure that the Status Bar Text check box is selected.
Select the Alternative Text check box, and then type the text that will appear if a browser cannot display the picture. This is also the text that an accessibility aid will read when the picture is selected.

18. On the workspace, select the second button, and then repeat step 17. Select the notes.html file.

19. On the workspace, select the third button, and then repeat step 13 to link to a different page.
TIP Try changing the hue of the second and third objects to make each object look unique. To do this, point to Color on the Format menu and click Hue and Saturation. For example, select the second object and move the Hue slider to -90, and then select the third object and move the Hue slider to -180.
Here's how to save Graphics and HTML Coding for use in any HTML editor

1. File Menu >  Save for Use in... Then follow the steps in the wizard to save an .htm file in the location you specify, and to create an images subfolder that holds the set of saved GIF or JPG files.

Where do you want to put your picture? On the Web
How do you want to use your picture on the web? As a web page.
The picture has transparent areas... Let the Web Page Background show through.
My Web Page's background color is white.
Click save.

Here's how to save Graphics and HTML Coding for use in Frontpage specifically
1. File Menu > Save Send option, click Send to Microsoft FrontPage.
2. In the Send to Microsoft FrontPage dialog box, click To bottom of active page if the page you are working on is open. Otherwise, click To new Web page.
3. Click Options.
4. In the Export Options dialog box, click Slice picture into separate images, and then click OK.
5. In the Send to Microsoft FrontPage dialog box, click OK.
6. In Microsoft FrontPage 2000, click the Preview tab and click any of the objects to follow the hyperlink you created for it.
