What tool works best for what stage of the whole process? Here are some possible scenarios.
You want to upload text material for students in your class. Option 1: from WORD to Inform (or WebCT) 1. Create Document in Word, Save as Word for archival purposes, Save as HTML (or Web file) to be read by web browsers) 2. Upload to Inform using WebSpinner (or upload into WebCT space) You want to upload text, and/or images for students in your class. Option 2: from WORD to Composer to Inform (or WebCT) via WebSpinner 1. Create Document in Word, Save as Word for archival purposes. 2. Copy and Paste content into a blank Netscape Composer Document 3. Insert Image. 4. Save as HTML 5. Upload to HTML document and image file to inform using WebSpinner (or upload to WebCT space) Option 3: from Composer to Inform (or WebCT) via WebSpinner 1. Create HTML document from Netscape using Composer. 2. Insert image. 5. Upload HTML doc and image file to inform using WebSpinner (or upload to WebCT space) You are maintaining a Web Site for your class, your department, or a special project. Options 1 to 3 from above Option 4: from Dreamweaver to Inform via WebSpinner 1. Design Web site using Dreamweaver 2. Upload to inform using WebSpinner
