8th Annual SLLC Undergraduate Research Forum

8th Annual SLLC Undergraduate Research Forum

College of Arts and Humanities | School of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures Wednesday, April 27, 2016 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm St. Mary’s Hall, Multipurpose Room

The annual SLLC Undergraduate Research Forum highlights a selection of research projects undertaken by senior undergraduate students under the mentorship of their SLLC professors. The goal of the Forum is to strengthen undergraduate research at SLLC and in the College of Arts and Humanities.

Past Forums have showcased research on how non-heritage learners of Chinese invent ways to remember the various characters (Esther Lou Robinson, Government and Politics and Chinese, 2014), the Russian influence on Central Asia (Margaret Bailey, Arabic Studies 2014)

The annual SLLC Undergraduate Research Forum draws from language students who are participating in independent studies, as well as faculty nominated projects. Each project must be tied to language or literature in order to qualify for the forum.
