Australian sculptor Marley Dawson is attracted to materials and processes with veiled significances that suggest the possibility of interaction--such as miniature rockets created with the same ballistics technology used in weapons manufacturing or aerodynamic, turned wooden objects made from rock maple baseball bat blanks. For this conversation, Dawson is joined by Vesela Sretenović, Senior Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, The Phillips Collection.

Conversations with Artists is a lively series that provides an opportunity to hear from and speak with leading contemporary artists in an informal setting.
