The David C. Driskell Center and The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center invite you to meet poet Nikky Finney at the unveiling of her artist book, “The Battle of and for the Black Face Boy.”

The poem, "The Battle of and for the Black Face Boy," was commissioned by the Artist Partner Program at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center at the University of Maryland, College Park, in honor of the 2015 Sesquicentennial celebration of the end of the Civil War. A small number of copies from the limited edition of 30 artist books will be available for purchasing.
