Panel discussion with Emily Wilson

All are welcome to a panel discussion with Emily Wilson at the Enoch Pratt Free Library, Govans Branch, 5714 Bellona Ave., Baltimore, Maryland.  Wilson is a classical scholar and Professor at the University of Pennsylvania, acclaimed for her recently published translation of the Odyssey, which will be the focus of the panel.  Prof. Lillian Doherty of UMD will participate, along with Prof. Thomas Falkner of McDaniel College and Prof. Shirley Basfield Dunlap of Morgan State University. 

The panel is the kickoff event for a project designed and directed by Amy Bernstein, a Baltimore-based playwright.  The project will engage students in creating art and drama inspired by Wilson's translation.
