Kate Juhl Receives 2017 Student Affairs Outstanding Service Award

The award recognizes exemplary staff contributions to student affairs.

The Division of Student Affairs has awarded Kate Juhl, program director of the career center at the College of Arts and Humanities (ARHU), the 2017 Student Affairs Outstanding Service Award. This annual award recognizes the exemplary service and outstanding contributions of employees in the Division of Student Affairs.

Since 2014, Juhl has been solely dedicated to working with ARHU students. She has been with the university since 2011 and has over a decade of experience working with students in the arts and humanities on career development issues. Juhl helps ARHU students clarify their career interests, develop job search strategies, revise job search documents, prepare for upcoming interviews and more.

Juhl was nominated for the award by Erica Ely, program director for internships, and Erin Rooney-Eckel, senior associate director of the University Career Center, with supplemental letters from Kelley Bishop, Director of the University Career Center, and Audran Downing, assistant dean for student affairs.
