Awards recognize and celebrate excellence in professional theater throughout the Washington metropolitan area.

The School of Theatre, Dance and Performance Studies was well represented at DC Theater’s Big Night Out. With several nominations and winners in five categories, we are proud to be recognized for the outstanding work that our students, faculty, and alumni do in professional theater. 

The Helen Hayes Awards are among the country's most prestigious cultural honors, recognizing and celebrating excellence in professional theater throughout the Washington metropolitan area. Congratulations to all the 2018 Helen Hayes recipients!
