Visual Arts Hiring Fair
Structured as a reverse career fair, 20-30 of UMD's most talented students in graphic design, video production and/or animation will display their work. Employers will circulate around the room to meet students, check out their work and pick up resumes. Each student must go through a training prior to the event to ensure they have at least 3 quality work samples, a professional resume and an understanding of the networking process.
Register via the link below and then watch for a follow-up email with an invitation to complete the required training on Canvas no later than October 24. The training will require you to submit your resume as well as at least 3 high quality work samples (graphic design) or a brief demo reel (video production; animation). If you have any questions about the requirements, please email Kate Juhl at kjuhl@umd.edu. This fair is open to students of all majors.
