The symposium will feature presentations from graduate students, along with round-table discussions and two guest speakers:Achille Varzi of Columbia University, and Paul Pietroski.
On March 31st and April 1st, 2012, PHLING is hosting Maryland's first-annual interdisciplinary research symposium on //events//, as part of our ongoing events project. The symposium will bring together young researchers working on events in philosophy, linguistics and psychology. We aim to relate the discussion of events in these fields, bringing into conversation the work in ontology, logic, semantics, and perception.
