ARHU Spring Commencement 2012

Congratulations to ARHU's 2012 spring graduates!

These events are not only a celebration of the graduating students' accomplishments at the University of Maryland, but also an occasion to acknowledge our joint enthusiasm for their future endeavors. The university recognizes that commencement is a milestone in our graduates' lives and, as such, we strive to ensure that everyone enjoys their experience. The campus-wide ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 20, and the individual college or school ceremonies will occur at various times on Sunday, May 20 and Monday, May 21.

Students are eligible for Commencement Honors if they meet the following criteria:

Primary major in ARHU or will have a double degree in ARHU

Have earned at least 60 credits at UM by the end of the graduating semester.

Have a cumulative GPA, prior to the start of the graduating semester, in one of the following ranges

Students will be notified the first week in May.

Summa Cum Laude 4.000 - 3.969

Magna Cum Laude 3.968 - 3.910
Cum Laude 3.909 - 3.81
