Graphic Design Undergraduates Win American Advertising Awards In Washington, D.C.

Four students won a Student Gold ADDYs for Package Design and Book Design from the American Advertising Federation.

Four Maryland undergraduate students won prestigious awards from the American Advertising Federation at its award ceremony on March 18th in Washington, D.C. Brittany O'Brien, Grant McFarland, Brooke Goren and Princetta Jarry won a Student Gold ADDY for Package Design and a Student Gold ADDY for Book Design, for their work on blood sample bags and accompanying booklet. These students were the only Gold winners in these student categories at the Washington, D.C. contest.

In addition to the two Student Gold ADDYs at the local competition, the four undergraduates have won two Silver ADDYs (also for book design and package design) at the regional level, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Washington, D.C. They will participate at the national-level competition in late April, so stay tuned for further announcements!
